Have you ever heard about the Russian hand-to-hand combat worked out by Aleksey Alekseyevich Kadochnikov? This is not so much sport as an applied system. There are no competitions on this martial art. Meanwhile even people in China have heard about it. And not just heard… Information: “Some special sub-units of the Chinese army started to train the crew according to the methodology of the Kadochnikov Systema.” According to our data the instructors are persons (their names are kept in secret) who studies in universities in Moscow, Krasnodar and some other cities on the territory of the Russian Federation and Ukraine. Somehow they got access to the material of the Russian hand-to-hand combat.
Aleksey Alekseyevich Kadochnikov is a living legend; he can justly be called a strategic “resource” of the Russian Federation. The president Putin awarded him the commendation “For exemplary performing military duty and selfless service to the Fatherland”. When he was a child Aleksey Alekseyevich Kadochnikov dreamed about the career of a military man. In his life were flying military school in Harkov, special school in Jeisk; hard officer’s service and staff reduction in the army… Aleksey Alekseyevich Kadochnikov graduated polytechnic university in Krasnodar and started to work: first in a research institute and then in the well-known Krasnodar higher command and engineering school of the rocket forces at the department of mechanics. For Aleksey Alekseyevich Kadochnikov this became a kind of firing pad for working out his personal style of the Russian martial art which was based on the laws of mechanics. At that time was maintained scientific systematic approach to the Russian hand-to-hand combat. It was regarded as a complex constituent of the life support system of a contemporary combat. Today it is called the Kadochnikov Systema or the Style of Kadochnikov.
Thus on Tuesday the patriarch of the Russian hand-to-hand combat came to Tver to accomplish almost a weeklong seminar of an international scale.
– Aleksey Alekseyevich, I know that the Russian hand-to-hand combat is only a part of the Kadochnikov Systema.
-Yes, of course. What does the term “Systema” imply? This is a form of vital functions of an organism; in our case it is a man. This is a private safeguarding technique, the whole complex of knowledge. Don’t start things you’ve got no idea about. Don’t do anything illegal. Do things properly. Put into practice things you really know. We should look into the core of the science and use it in our activity. Mind without intellect is a disaster!
– You mean there should be not only technical skills but also tactics?
– … and strategy together with doctrine!
– We can say that the Kadochnikov Systema is feather in our country’s cap?
– It was Suvorov who created the science to win. Things that is happening now are just a new wave. I just raised the colours that had fallen down long ago. If it were not me it would do someone else. I don’t study history and make comparisons.
The Russians are many-sided nation. I offer what I’ve managed to create. My will is not strong enough to assume other people’s achievements. I mean Peter I, Suvorov, Nahimov, Ushakov. The captain of the second rank Leonov having only a dozen of sailors defeated the army of six thousand Japanese soldiers. Why does nobody speak about this?..
– I think we can call you a patriot with a capital P. I’m sure you were invited to work abroad…
– That was long ago. Why should I? I have my native land and I enjoy working with our people.
You just need to see the science: there are statistics, kinematics, dynamics, physiology, psychology here… you should find the way to apply its laws for every other person. You should provide the natural vital activity. I give this material from the position of an engineer.
– What percent of efficiency do your disciples get? You know much more than they do…
– Can you pour a bucket of water into a glass? No, you can’t. We need to get people ready, allow them to widen their knowledge and world-view so that we could work further with this knowledge and potential energy.
– Is there are any fakes of the Kadochnikov Systema?
– There are lots of them. One friend of mine offered me to come and see how someone practiced the Kadochnikov Systema. We came there and I asked that man: “Do you know Kadochnikov?” He answered: “Just like I know you”. Of course we explained everything to him…
– Do you need to have some special world-view to learn the Kadochnikov Systema? Or it brings up certain qualities such as discipline in the process?
– We are living in Russia. We were brought up by our parents and were given basis gathered by our ancestors. We should have used the instrument they gave us but we threw it away and said: “We will attack barehanded”. Life demands from you never forget what you’ve learnt at school. Our philosophy is to protect our Fatherland.
Before the participants of the seminar are trainings on the special tactics, survival in extreme cases, reflexology, combat fencing and many other activities. Aleksey Alekseyevich Kadochnikov will read a lecture “How to survive in the area of an armed conflict” to the students of the military school. During all this time Tver TV will make the film “The Russian Hand-to-Hand Combat by A.Kadochnikov”.
