If we continue to stand idle in these terms, the level of our abilities reaches the pinnacle at some point and then starts declining steadily.

What age do you think it is? Fifty years or, maybe, sixty? Unfortunately, not.

The peak of physical abilities is reached by thirty, then one’s developmental potency, especially in a physical sense, declines.
For instance, if inert, after reaching the age of thirty you will lose 220 grams of muscles each year. Essentially, muscular tissues of the human body start to die at 30-32.

Physiologically speaking, it means that any uncontrolled muscle development after this age will take energy from the other systems of the organism, mostly from the tendons, which are, by the way, the longest living system of our body.

That’s why the loss of elasticity and flexibility signals that the muscles have started to take energy from tendons. This is the reason to treat muscle development from a certain age not as a means of beautification of the body, but as a means of supplying tendons.
